Instructor

My hope is to make the Pilates method as inclusive and accessible to further develop one’s mind-body interconnection.

  • After competing as a triple-sport athlete in college (cheerleading, swimming, & distance running), I was drawn to Pilates to rehabilitate old injuries and transition into a different form of movement. We carry so much subconscious stress in our bodies- that is why I believe in an evidence-based and solution-focused approach to working with clients on releasing tension and developing strength.

Teaching at physical therapy clinics, major health clubs, corporate fitness brands, and local boutique studios have helped me to understand that quality instruction includes a modification or progression for everyone.

While open to all clients, I specialize in offering services that are LGBTQ+ and gender affirming, focused on rehabilitation for current athletes, and helping those going through post-sport/fitness transitions with identity reconstruction and new movement discovery.

My hope is to make the Pilates method as inclusive and accessible to further develop one’s mind-body interconnection.
